The rows of the table correspond to different data sets (listed in the left-most column) and the columns correspond to adaptation models (listed in the top row). The adaptation parameters correspond to parameters in the following response function model:
where R is the response of the mechanisms. One 1-parameter, three 2-parameter and two 3-parameter models are shown. The models shown are those that scored highest on Akaike's Information Criterion for each number of adaptation parameters. The format of the figures in each cell of the table is the same as that of Figs. 2-5 in the manuscript. Clicking on the figures in each cell of the table below will magnify the images.
